Return and Warranty Policy

Hey, we know sometimes things happen and you need to return your RC product. Don't worry though! We have a game plan that will make returns quick and easy.

New and Unused Products

Requirements for Returns
  1. Buy with confidence - we are proud to offer full refunds with NO RESTOCKING FEE on all eligible new returns*!
    *Minus shipping costs. Products with free shipping promotions are still refunded minus actual shipping costs
  2. Products are eligible for return up to 30 days from the date of delivery. To help with your gift giving, holiday orders placed between November 20th and December 15th are eligible for return until January 15th.
  3. Items may only be returned if they are new and unused, with all original packing intact (The running of fuel through engines, applying stickers or decals, cutting of zip ties or tape, running boats through water, assembling planes, running products, or removing plastic wrap all preclude a product from being considered new).
  4. All materials that were included with the original product (ie. manuals, batteries, packaging, etc.) must be included to be eligible for return.
  5. All products must be approved for return through our online system or e-mail. Products sent to us without prior approval will be denied.

How to Return
  1. Make sure the product is in new and unopened condition.
  2. Cover or remove any address stickers that are currently on the shipping box.
  3. Use the return link on your account's order page or contact us via email to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
  4. We will send you an email with specific instructions on how you should address your package. Not properly labeling your package may extend processing times.
  5. Send the product back to us via a carrier of your choosing.*
    *Shipper is responsible for the product's safe delivery

What happens next?
  1. Once we receive your return, we will process and inspect your return. The results of your inspection will be updated to your XenonProject.com account.
  2. If the return passes our inspection, we will issue you a refund or issue store credit depending on which you prefer.
  3. If the return fails our inspection (it was opened or used) you may
    • abandon the product at our warehouse
    • pay to have the original item sent back to you
    (In the event that your return fails, we will make every effort to contact you. If we do not receive a response within 45 days, we will consider the product abandoned)

Defective products
Requirements for Warranty Service
  1. Products are eligible for warranty service up to 30 days from the date of delivery. To help with your gift giving, holiday orders placed between November 20th and December 15th are warrantied until January 15th.
  2. Warranty covers items that are defective upon arrival only (never worked). Items that are damaged through normal use, or improper use, are not covered under warranty, regardless of the duration of time the product was used for.
  3. Products under manufacturer warranty are required by the manufacturer to be serviced directly through them. Products which are not covered under manufacturer warranty are covered under XenonProject.com Warranty
  4. Products under XenonProject.com Warranty will be serviced by either replacement parts or replacement products, at our discretion.
  5. Items may only be returned for defective replacement with all original packaging and all materials that were included with the original product (ie. manuals, batteries, packaging, etc).
  6. All products must be approved for return through our online system or e-mail. Products sent to us without prior approval will be denied.

How to Return
  1. Save all shipping materials that came with the product (original box, packing paper, etc.).
  2. Cover or remove any address stickers that are currently on the shipping box.
  3. Use the return link on your account's order page or contact us via email to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
  4. After the RMA has been approved, you will be sent a link to print your return shipping label or we will send the appropriate parts at no cost to get your vehicle in proper working order - depending on the nature of the defect.
  5. If you get a return label, just tape it to your box making sure that the bar code is clearly visible and bring your package to a local FedEx / UPS drop-off location.

What happens next?
  1. If you are receiving parts and need help, please feel free to contact us during normal business hours.
  2. If you are returning your product, we will process and inspect your return within 7 days of arrival. The results of your inspection will be updated to your XenonProject.com account.
  3. All warranty service shipments are sent via ground or 3-day shipping (if originally expedited).
  4. If the return passes our inspection, we will, depending on the situation
    • send you a replacement for the product
    • repair your vehicle
    • issue store credit
    (In the event that we are out of stock of the original item you ordered, we will issue you store credit.)
  5. If the return fails our inspection you may
    • abandon the product at our warehouse
    • pay to have the original item sent back to you
    • pay to have us repair your product (if possible) and ship it back to you
    (In the event that your return fails, we will make every effort to contact you. If we do not receive a response within 45 days, we will consider the product abandoned)

Orders damaged during shipping
Requirements for Replacement
  1. Shipping damaged orders are shipments that are damaged during the shipping process. They often have visible crushing, puncture, or other damage on the box itself. Furthermore, items that are not visibly damaged on the outside but appear to have damage interally from violent impact may be shipping damage as well.
How to Return
  1. If your item arrives damaged during shipping, please refuse the package or return to a Fedex / UPS shipping location within 24 hours clearly marked as "Refused due to shipping damage".
  2. Contact us via email to notify us that the package was damaged during shipment and refused.
What happens next?
  1. Once your shipping damage claim is filed, we will issue a replacement of the same product at no charge.
  2. All replacement shipments are sent via ground or 3-day shipping (if originally expedited).
  3. You will receive an email when your replacement product is sent.
